Basically, it all comes down to:

“We won’t spam you ‘cos we don’t like spam”

Privacy Policy

WebsiteDoctor® believes that strong electronic privacy is crucial. Therefore any information you enter will be known only to you and us. We pledge that we will not release your personal data to anyone else, any 3rd party, without your consent – period.

We don’t like spam and we will never spam, period.

WebsiteDoctor appreciates the value of permission-based email (also known as “opt-in”) whereby companies like us send emails to people who have given their explicit permission to receive that mail.

Email subscriptions
You may change the status of any subscriptions you may have to our newsletters and ezines at any time. Information for doing so is detailed within every email posting.

No information given to 3rd parties
Your contact information may be used occasionally by WebsiteDoctor to notify users of new services, events or the like, but will not be given or sold to third parties.

If we ever do present user information to anyone outside of WebsiteDoctor, it will be in the form of statistical compilations of data from visitors’ browsers and on-site behaviour – this grouped information is used for enhancing our website – e.g. to determine what screen resolution or web browser software our visitors are using. Again – your personal contact information is not ever given to any 3rd party, and we will never spam you.

Our Comments Policy

All comments are moderated for first time commenters. We welcome all points of view and will not censor differing opinions – we encourage intelligent and spirited debate, because that’s what blogging is all about!

Comments may be edited or deleted to remove spam, profanity or for legal reasons; where that has been done we will endeavour to leave a note of explanation.

Spam comments
Links are NOT follow enabled – they are all no-follow. Spammy or keyword based usernames will be edited and have links removed, or simply deleted.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure of Your Business Information

Due to the nature of our business – and so that we can help you achieve the business goals that you want to achieve – we often need information about your business that is highly confidential.

For example, to help you increase your online sales we need to know your sales and marketing strategy, and often details like which products are more profitable, which types of projects you prefer to take on, etc.

We take our responsibility to protect this information very seriously and take all reasonable steps to preserve confidentiality. This information will never be shared or used by us for any other purpose than working to help you achieve business success.

In the course of our work, we may need to share such information with employees and with independent subcontractors, all of whom have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to starting work with us. Occasionally we may need to share information with individual members of our Board of Advisors, a small number of very experienced business people who have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to working with us. Finally, we may need to share some limited information relating to our invoices and services rendered to your business with our Accountants – since we established in 2007 that has been Ken Chapman and Associates of Ratoath, Co. Meath, Ireland, Chartered Certified Accountants – in order to file our accounts correctly. This relationship is covered by a standard professional accountant non-disclosure policy.

In summary, we take your business information in confidence, and take our obligation to maintain that information in confidence very seriously.

Affiliate Links

Our site includes affiliate links – these are links whereby we may receive remuneration in the form of commission payment (or sometimes credit towards services) from some vendors if you purchase goods or services after clicking through that link. Some affiliate programs we are members of include Amazon, Commission Junction, Clickbank, iStockPhoto, ThemeForest, and others.

We have chosen to only recommend products that we use or have thoroughly researched. Our credibility online means everything to us and we take our responsibility as affiliates very seriously. For any affiliate links, we make reviews and any and all recommendations are in good faith.

We don’t recommend or often don’t even mention sites or services we deem to be of poor quality.
